– U14 All-Start Game was a success and will continue.
State raised fees for players to
$11.00, make a note of that on your league fee form, and it might go up
again in the spring.
There was too many game and field changes this past
spring. We will be looking for ways to discourage
these changes in the future.
Stress to the coaches that if there is no player pass,
the child does not play, even if the coaches agree that they are ok with it, NO
PASS, NO PLAY!
Reps should be listed on roster for your community
to be cover for insurance. Let Jan know
what team you are on, the league will cover your fee.
NOGSL is looking into a paid administrator for the league, hopefully by June 2008. League fees may go up some.
Guest
Player Policy:
The following is the NOGSL guest player policy for league games effective Spring 2006. In order to use guest player the following rules apply:
1) The team attempting to have a guest player may only do this if the total number of players they have to not afford them 3 subs for the game. Example an U11team playing 8v8 should have up to 11 players, if only 10 could attend one guest player could be added.
2) The guest player must be from your community and they must have an NOGSL player pass at the game.
3) Guest players can play no more than 4 times per season for their guest team.
4) Game cards – Highlight guest player on score card.
MARY – All coaches need to register for Risk Management on line with OYSAN.org. Make sure they register as NOGS.
JAN – All new passes this year for
everyone. If you are playing in the
NOGSL Tournament, your team paperwork in due by July 23 (there is no meeting,
so you will need to get it to Jan). All
the rest is due July 30, after this date there is a $5/day late fee. Your coaches need to turn in with their registration
form the confirmation page from Rick Management. Please have your team registrations alphabetized. Make sure all passes are signed and picture
is glued on, and you do not need to send in the blue half of the pass. U12 playing 11v11, will be roster as U13 with
OYSAN.
CARL – If your coaches need their license, NOGSL is offering a clinic on Aug. 10-12 in Solon, email Carl if you are interested. You can also check the OYSAN web site for more license clinics. We had multiple players red carded this season, inform your coaches, 2 yellow = red= 2 game suspension. We also have a Sportsmanship code, if a team is short players, the opponent is to play with the same number of players, also after a 4 goal lead, remove (winning team) or add (losing team) a player, and after a 6 goal lead, again add or remove another player.
HOWARD – Fall tournament is Aug. 17-19 in
Bob – Will mail out bill to each community.
